Christian Waitzinger leads Publicis Sapient's Experience Capability Group in the EMEA and APAC region. He also strengthens Publicis Sapient's position as a partner for digital business transformation and leads the conception and creation for transformation projects in the Transportation & Mobility industries.

His task is to advance the Experience and Design Capability operationally and to help maximize the impact creativity brings to the business strategy. He provides creative leadership for customer experiences with a focus on Service Design, Systems & Commerce Design, Digital Product and Service Innovation, Immersive Digital Environments and Content Experiences.

He applies user-centered research and design thinking best practices to Publicis Sapient’s business and focuses on defining strategies and approaches for the evolution of customer experiences (digital and otherwise), and the impact emerging technology will have across all types of customer interactions, products and services – with the goal to deliver groundbreaking work at the intersection of Experience, Design, Technology and Data.

Before Publicis Sapient, Christian Waitzinger was Vice President and Executive Creative Director for SapientNitro’s New York office. Christian oversaw the entire creative department in the New York office and lead the development of multi-channel user experiences, on-brand designs, innovative campaigns, connected retail experiences and fan engagement platforms. Prior to joining SapientNitro, Christian held many creative positions at Sapient Corporation. He is on numerous industry panels at leading conferences, including Ad Age, and South by Southwest. Christian's award-winning work for clients includes: Verizon Wireless, MSNBC, Lufthansa, Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Hugo Boss, Ferrari, Nissan, Sony Electronics, and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
